Woven is different from knitting in a broad sense, and its meaning can transcend the mechanical weaving of action- intertwining everything. Woven objects can be specific practical objects, and can also be abstract thoughts, feelings, language, writing. They can intertwine collisions of two different artistic presentations. As a language or symbol, woven communicates with people and expresses emotions. Woven is also a force, a force for freedom that is self-contained, and captures the imagination. We are calling for artists who are inspired by Woven and show themselves to create a different existence.
The exhibition is based on the theme of woven, which brings together woven art works in different forms of media.

As we look to grow the collection, we consider how new pieces will function within the greater collection and how they will harmoniously integrate.
